This site is about giving everyone in the world the ability to comment in long form on matters of importance (at least to them). Whether the opinion is humorous, witty, rhetorical, maybe even a little elitist, home spun, poignant, clever, intelligent or of any other nature it is welcomed here because everyone's opinion matters.
But, nothing demeaning, insulting, harmful, hateful, criminal will be tolerated here. Self-expression is a right but expressing it here is a privilege that can be revoked.
It is a moderated website to the extent that it can be. The community will play a part in keeping matters in bounds in accordance with hearty agreement, respectful disagreement, or anything in-between, with well placed comments on any article posted here.
The current intention is that every article that is approved will remain on the site. This intention can be changed in the future.
So there is no 140 character limit. If you choose to write here your intelligence, character, thoughtfulness, sense of humor will be on full display and limited only by the depth of your thoughts and vocabulary.
